Home Rush The Fish War: Check the Human's Whole Route to the Fighting Spot

A good destination is useful only when the drag path reaches it without an obstacle creating a different problem.

Separate the spot from its approach

Home Rush The Fish War asks you to drag and hold to move the human into a position for defeating the fish. The target position and the route to it are two related decisions. Before dragging, inspect the ground between the starting point and the desired spot. A destination that looks well placed for the encounter can still require an approach that crosses an obstacle or passes an enemy.

Use the hold with a clear intention

Because the description explicitly names holding as part of movement, decide what the ongoing gesture is meant to accomplish. Watch the human's actual response as you move rather than treating the drag as a drawing unrelated to the character. The live instructions determine whether you can revise the route during movement or must commit in another way. Learn that behavior from a deliberate action before attempting a more complicated passage.

Judge position by the encounter it creates

After reaching a spot, look at the relationship between the human, the fish, and nearby obstacles. Did the position produce the approach you intended? The listing calls for the perfect spot but supplies no universal distance or guaranteed attack formula. A useful explanation is local: this route avoided that obstruction and brought the character to this side of the encounter. That gives a failed or successful approach a concrete lesson for the next attempt.
